As of 01 November 2024, applicants are no longer required to email their documents to Consulate for prior document approval.

APPLICATION FEE:

  • HKD 600/- under 10 years old (34 Page)
  • HKD 1200/- above 10 years old (34 Page)
  • HKD 1600/- all (66 Page)
  • HKD 1800/- for 34 Page Lost/Damaged Passport
  • HKD 2400/- for 66 Page Lost/Damaged Passport

2. Fill Online Form: Once you have all required documents, do not send an email to Consulate but directly visit this link https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np to choose appointment date and time, upload necessary documents and personal information.
*** If your current passport is Handwritten Passport, please select NEW PASSPORT option (Not Renewal) while filling online form.

3. Live Enrollment: On the day & time of your appointment, bring all original documents and a printout of the completed form. After a brief wait, you will be called into the enrollment unit to have your photo, fingerprints and signature taken into the system. During enrollment, you may request for any corrections in your information on the application.

4. Wait for Passport: If the information provided by you is correct and complete, the passport application will be accepted. It usually takes a maximum 45-60 days for the passport to arrive in Hong Kong.

5. Collect Passport: Consulate will update its Website and Facebook Page with a list of passports that are ready to collect. Please like and follow the Facebook page for regular updates from the Consulate. If your name and receipt number matches our list, please visit the Consulate between 2-5PM on working day to collect your passport.
